DEFEAT DASCHLE

The Democrat Party establishment has faithfully lined up behind Tom Daschle in their party’s effort to keep the Senate and make gains in the House during the 2002 election cycle, despite the fact that his credibility has been brought into question.

Even liberal Democrats are losing their enthusiasm for Tom Daschle, and it’s no wonder why: radical politics, policy flip-flops, and strong-arm tactics are simply too much for many to stomach.

But we disagree with those who criticize him for being uninspiring— the notion of Tom Daschle continuing to serve as Senate Majority Leader inspires plenty of worry, concern, and hand-wringing among those who care about the future of our nation.

That's why we're out to "Defeat Daschle" in 2002 by targeting weak incumbent Democrats in states where our expenditures will be most effective.
