Democrats Plan to Shutdown Government

President Obama and Democrats WANT a government shutdown, so they can blame Republicans and try to keep Barack Obama in the White House for four more years! The Republicans' strategy to continue incremental cuts to this year's federal budget is working, and has already brought $10 billion in spending cuts that benefit taxpayers; and they're on track to cut $61 billion by the end of the year. Democrats are incapable of explaining to Americans why they oppose incremental spending cuts that total $2 billion a week. They cannot defend their spending increases because they know THEY ARE WRONG. Members of Congress need your support as they continue incremental spending cuts that have already slashed $10 billion in government spending. AmeriPAC has set up a way for you to send Blast Faxes all at once and tell Congress that we cannot afford to not to take back the Senate and the White House in 2012 because of a GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN that Americans DO NOT support---and America cannot afford. The U.S. dollar has been damaged enough already by reckless spending. AmeriPAC needs your financial support to keep the pressure on Republicans to stay the course and continue to chip away Obama's socialist spending, $10 billion, $20 billion or $30 billion at a time until the Democrats get serious about passing a real budget that focuses on both current and future spending cuts. Here is the economic reality of the United States. Amid a war in Libya there is a global effort to aid earthquake and tsunami-stricken Japan. At the same time, there is a continuing war in Afghanistan, endless unemployment, and skyrocketing gas prices at a point in our history where the taxpayers find themselves with empty pockets. Because the people are broke the government is broke since government is no richer than the pockets of its citizens. Yet, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and the Democratic leadership in the U.S. Senate are refusing to accept concessions to fund the federal government through the end of the fiscal year. And time is running short. What's Senator Reid wrangling over? A mere $51 billion in additional budget cuts, which amounts to a few days of government deficit spending. The left wants to continue on their reckless spending spree---spending money the people of the United States simply don't possess and calling it an "investment" instead of "fiscal recklessness." Sen. Harry Reid's stonewalling isn't just about dollars and cents, nor is it about saving federal funding for his Cowboy Poetry Festival. Reid and the Democrats in Congress are setting the groundwork for a partial government shutdown so they can lay the blame at the feet of the Tea Party and Republicans in Congress in the hope of political gain. They're simply putting electoral politics ahead of the business of managing the financial affairs of this nation. Democrats want the media to blame Republicans for a government shutdown because they witnessed the success of this strategy in 1995--a strategy that led to Republican losses and a WIN for Democrats, with four more years of Bill Clinton and his cronies in the White House. The question is, will the American people be smart enough to remember that come Election Day? We can't afford for the Democrats to win in 2012 and get four more years of Obama in the White House...and the return of Nancy Pelosi to the Speaker's podium...and six more years of the Democrats controlling the agenda in the Senate. Don't let this happen! Help AmeriPAC contact members of Congress to let them know that we support continued incremental cuts for the remainder of fiscal year 2011. Tell Congress that a GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN will only lead to LONG TERM LOSSES for AMERICANS. SEND YOUR FAX AND DONATION NOW! Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI), chairman of the House Budget Committee, will soon release his budget for 2012, and it's guaranteed to bring more cuts to the table that voters are seeking. But even these cuts cannot be fully realized if members of Congress rally for a government shutdown, thwarting any real opportunity Americans have for change and FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY in 2012 and beyond. Republicans have to hold the majority, not only in the House but the Senate. Mr. Obama's 2011 State of the Union address was the opening salvo of the Obama Reelection Campaign---and he told us very clearly what he plans to do... SPEND THIS COUNTRY INTO OBLIVION His platform and intentions remain the same: spend, spend, spend, or, to use his new term: invest, invest, and invest. Sadly, even though Mr. Obama knows the American people want an immediate end to deficit spending, the guy in the Oval Office is still convinced that he can spend the nation out of debt - and his Democrat foot soldiers in Congress are more than happy to do that, even when they look ridiculous doing it. Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) and Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) have actually complained with a straight face, that spending cuts are bad because they lead to the loss of taxpayers' dollars to help fund the annual Nevada cowboy poetry festival in Washington, D.C., or the defunding of syndicated programs on National Public Radio. And, of course, with those severe budget cuts, there might not be hundreds of millions of extra dollars laying around the State Department so that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton can build a new sewer system in Cairo, and finance the refurbishment of ancient mosques in Egypt---to the tune of $770 million to be exact. Think if it as Hillary's personal global outreach---with your money. Isn't it good to know how well your tax dollars are being used as you tighten your belt and worry about how your family is going to make ends meet if Congress does not rein in spending? Members of the mainstream media, who overwhelmingly support the Obama agenda, have already fashioned the strategy they will use to BLAME Republicans for causing another government shutdown. Why? Because that's the plan being hawked by Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) A government shutdown will lead to increased funding for Planned Parenthood, increased funding for National Public Radio, and a realization that Republicans forfeited the ONLY OPPORTUNITY they had to repeal ObamaCare. THE REPUBLICANS WILL GET BLAMED ... AND DEMOCRATS WILL WIN! WE CANNOT TAKE THIS CHANCE WITH OUR COUNTRY ... WE CANNOT SURVIVE ANOTHER FOUR YEARS OF OBAMA! It's time to FAX Congress...NOW! Send a strong message to Congress...and the best donation you can to AmeriPAC so we can keep the pressure on Congress to reduce the size and scope of Washington by saying "NO" to spending increases and ‘YES' to massive spending cuts the American people can no longer afford. Whatever you do, don't forget to include a donation to AmeriPAC to help us monitor every Member of Congress to make sure they agree on a federal budget for the remainder of fiscal year 2011, and put an end to MEDIA SPECULATION of a looming GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN. Don't let the DEMOCRATS win by allowing them to force a government shutdown. The best way for us to get our spending under control and bring fiscal responsibility back to Washington is by kicking the big-spending liberals out of office, and taking back full control of the White House and Senate. This is a very serious mission. Thank you for your help. And, please, if you believe that we need to seriously cut spending, please send this message to everyone on your email list. Don't wait. This is too important. Send your fax to Congress. Help us make this happen---and then, pass this message along to your friends. Sincerely, Alan M. Gottlieb Chairman, AmeriPAC www.Ameripac.org P.S. - We must act responsibility today to get our Congressmen and Senators in step with the fiscal convictions of what is an overwhelming majority of the American people. WE CAN'T SPEND WHAT WE DON'T HAVE, AND WE CAN'T BORROW WHAT WE CAN'T PAY BACK. Help us send that word to Congress through Blast Faxes all at once! Send your donation to AmeriPAC also, so we can keep pressure on them to negotiate a fiscally-sound budget that does not spend more than the government currently has, and to whittle away at the excesses in the proposed 2011 budget.
