The Democrat Party establishment has faithfully lined up behind Al Gore in their party’s presidential nomination contest. But already, his credibility has been brought into question.

Even liberal Democrats are losing their enthusiasm for Al Gore’s candidacy, and it’s no wonder why: Al Gore’s radical politics, policy flip-flops, and embarassing gaffes make him an unworthy successor even for Bill Clinton.

But we disagree with those who criticize him for being uninspiring— the notion of Al Gore as our nation’s President inspires plenty of worry, concern, and hand-wringing among those who care about the future of our nation.
